Elia Bonetti was born in 1983 in Parma, lives and works in Castell'Arquato (PC). After the Diploma at the art school "P. Toschi" of Parma, he moved to Florence to specialize at the "International School of Comics", where he is currently a teacher at the Reggio Emilia headquarters.
In Italy he collaborated with Astorina, Star Comics and Rizzoli. Internationally he has worked for Marvel and DC on Stories of Captain America, Spiderman, Wolverine and Catwoman.
Since 2010 he has published in France for Editions Soleil, L'Ordre des Dragons and the Trilogia Dogma. From 2014 publishes for Glenat History Le Nuit Des Morts Vivants. Actually he continues his collaboration with Soleil and works as a cover artist for Editoriale Cosmo. Parallel to comics and illustration, he deals with personal projects concerning painting.
Metamorfosi, the exhibition
A meeting between past and present in a conceptual and artistic horizon that reveals relationships, meanings and references. Through some cuts and shots, the portrait becomes a landscape, creating a mixture of genres whose purpose is to become non-genre.
